Travel underwear.
Let’s be honest: it can make or break a journey.
It’s not like you can just take it off, like you can a shirt or your pants. If your underwear gets uncomfortable, you’re stuck with it. Think you can just throw any old underwear on when you hit the road? Think again! It’s important you make the right choice.
But fear not! This site is here to make sure you make the best choice. There are a number of factors you should look out for when choosing your travel underwear. Familiarise yourself with the following, and then check out the products.
What to look for in travel underwear
Comfort – Of course, comfort should always be the number one priority. You’re on a journey, not a hot date, so keep it ‘no frills’. Judge tightness on the weather – hot climes may require a little more airflow, if you catch my drift (that advice is more for the guys than the girls). And at all costs, avoid anything with wedgie potential.
Quick dry – If your travel underwear is made of a material that dries quickly, this can save a lot of problems, it might even allow you to bring fewer pairs along with you. Multi-purpose cleaning products (that can be used for body and clothes) can be useful here too.
Anti-odour – Many forms of underwear are specifically designed for travel, in that they contain anti-microbial compounds which effectively stop your underwear from smelling so bad. Some even claim to give you an extra day’s use before washing is required. Again, this might help you to carry less stuff – especially if they’re quick dry also.
Elastic – This goes hand in hand with comfort, but the absolute last thing you want is to be stuck with underwear that is too tight or too loose when you’re travelling! Always test before you set off.
Style – You know style isn’t an issue, right?

Hmm. Possibly not the best choice. Especially if you’re a man.
